Nicole Napell, LMSW is a licensed master social worker providing teletherapy in the state of Maryland and Kansas under the clinical supervision of Rhonda Weimer (License No. 1763) and Kathryn Sollitto (License No. 17683). Nicole has experience with providing case management, group therapy, crisis intervention, and assessment for treatment planning. She sees individuals of all ages (including children ages 6+), couples, and families. She views the counseling process as an alliance and considers the clients as the experts in their lives. Within the structure of the therapeutic relationship, clients can access their inner strengths and promote change. She utilizes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, person-centered therapy, and reality therapy in her sessions. Her approach to therapy is based on the belief that clients are in charge of their counseling experiences. They will learn about the aspects of their lives that they can control, as well as those aspects that they cannot control. Nicole creates a safe environment for her clients where she and her clients can explore their primary interests, develop goals, and determine strengths.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, spending time at the lake, cooking, and gardening.
