Meet Laura
Laura Boudman, LCSW-C is a licensed clinical social worker with Transformative Counseling, LLC. She has 9 years of experience working within the helping professions, including advocacy, forensic and investigative social work, and therapeutic services. She believes that everyone deserves to feel heard, known, and supported in their therapeutic journey. She specializes in trauma treatment and has extensive experience working with survivors of abuse and neglect. She also specializes in gender-affirming care, depression, and anxiety. Laura utilizes a unique approach to each client, including techniques from interpersonal processing, instinctual trauma response and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as internal family systems and art therapy techniques. Laura believes that a creative, joy-seeking approach is key to healing.
When she's not seeing clients, Laura loves to read, do yoga and BJJ, and hang out with her cats and loved ones.
